About this product
Q130 is a traditional butyl tape. It is a balanced product - engineered to provide optimal levels of adhesion, elongation, and tensile strength. It exhibits excellent resistance to water, weather, and air intrusion. Among extruded tapes, Q130 is a relatively high modulus product. It has a high rubber content, and therefore is well-suited for use in a variety of applications and settings. Use Q130 in any application where the tape eventually gets covered up, and/or the substrates are flat. On RV's, this would be under roof fixtures, along side rails, and with other roof/sidewall configurations. Can be used in temperatures from -5° to 120°F.
