ArmorCoat Paint Protection Coating is a revolutionary spray installed clear bra system designed to protect painted surfaces in high wear areas of vehicles which are prone to chipping and damage. ArmorCoat is spray installed at a dry film thickness roughly 3 to 4 times greater than traditional automotive clears. Areas not to be covered are masked off prior to installation. ArmorCoat is then sprayed and allowed to air dry, then unmasked. PREPERATION PROCEDURE 1.) Wash vehicle and dry thoroughly. Clean areas to be coated two times using a solvent based grease and wax remover. 2.) Scuff all cleaned areas using a grey Scotch-Brite pad or ultra fine sandpaper (600+grit). 3.) Re-clean and tack surfaces so they are free of all residual particle matter. 4.) Map out area(s) to be sprayed. Cover remainder of vehicle to avoid over spray. If partial panel is being coated, use a quality "fine line" tape to create your stop or "back line". 5.) Overlap tape onto masking paper as final step.
