The 2-5/16" goose ball is made of solid steel for maximum strength when towing while the base is coated with a black powder finish to resist rust and corrosion. The Max Duty Gooseneck Hitch comes completely pre-assembled and ready to install into the unique Max Duty puck pattern underbed mounting kit and it also features convenient safety chain attachment points for added security. The Max Duty underbed mounting pattern is the only system that is exactly the same between truck manufacturers, making this gooseneck hitch instantly transferrable between Ford, GM, and RAM 1/2 ton pickups. Like all Reese products, the 14K Max Duty Gooseneck Hitch is tested to exceed SAE J2638 standards and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. NOTE: This Reese Max Duty gooseneck hitch is Not compatible with factory-installed (OE) under-bed mounting systems. Works only in conjunction with the Reese Max Duty Underbed Mounting System.
