About this product
The Patriot 18K Slider is our rail-mounted, American-made fifth wheel hitch with 12" of slide for maneuvering a short-bed truck. It offers an automatic latching in both directions of slide with fully articulating head allowing front to back and side to side pivoting. The 3/4" wrap around jaws insure a strong, worry-free connection. It can be vertically adjusted from 17" to 19" and with its easy to reach cam action handle; it means easy release even when parked on unlevel sites. Fits all standard mounting rails and provides a side to side pivot with spring cushion; cushions are made of Polyurethane to help prevent metal to metal contact. The 18K has a GTW of 18,000 pounds. The tongue weight rating is 4,500 pounds.
